Keymap ignored

Hello,

When I compile paradise-client-3.3p0 and run it, it seems to parse my
keymap, but not actually remap the keys.

What I mean by this is that the help window shows the new keys that
should work, but when I press the new keys, they still carry out the
old action.

Even a keymap as simple as keymap:tTTt does not work.

Any Ideas?
