I'd like to be able to keep some news feeds longer than at the
moment. My oldest is Nov 6th. Some subscriptions, you don't have
that many new items. I do not want them to disappear/be removed after
2 weeks.

I've tried the tab Archiving in the Prefs, and selected 'at least 62
days (2 months)'. It didn't change anything. Frustrating when NNW
removes not-that-old (about) 2 weeks) feeds itself.

Anything I can do to keep them longer?

Other than that, NNW is awesome.

Thanks 4 your help.

I believe I know what the issue is, and it should get fixed as part of the syncing efficiency and accuracy work I'm doing right now.

thanks for the reply Brent

Would it be possible not to sync my feeds with Google Reader? And if
so, might that help me keep my unread feeds for as long as I want?

Thanks so much for your help. NNW is the best!

For me article persistence (currently with only a 30 day global
setting, no per-feed overrides) is honored in 3.2.3, directly
subscribing to feeds and never enabling synching (in any desktop
client version). No Google Reader dependencies.
