I've just reinstalled NetNewsWire for iPhone after seeing it getting
mentioned on the web a couple of times as a great RSS Reader. After
using it for a few minutes, i finally remembered why i uninstalled it.
The way it handles feeds drives me nuts. After clicking mark all as
read for one of my feeds, the whole feed just disappeared off the
screen. I was thinking maybe NNW just hides the read posts and if a
feed doesn't have anything, hides the feed too. Strage behaviour,
certainly not what i want but if its that way then ok.

Strangely enough, i did the same for another feed and it didn't go
away. The posts were marks as read but stayed there. This was the
point where i started getting confused. So does it, or does it not
hide read posts and feeds. After refreshing numerous times since the
counter on the main page said i have unread in the feed but opening
the feed reveals only read feeds, the counter went erratic and
increased at times and decreased at times. After rebooting the app,
hiding and showing feeds a couple of times, all my feeds disappeared
except one, and it have no posts in it. Noting that i set all my feeds
to appear but only one remains, I am absolutely confused how this app
is supposed to work. Could someone please enlighten me how the app is
supposed to work and I most certainly hope that I am doing something
wrong.

The app shows recent items and unread items. Sometimes when you mark
everything as read, those read items are all older (no longer recent),
and the feed disappears.

Other times some of the items that you marked read are still recent,
so they still display.

(In a future release you'll have more control over this.)

The feed that remained had posts from October. Thats not very recent
right? While the other feed had posts from November. It seems like it
went buggy.
