I have no desire (or motive) to deceive you folks. I know nothing of the
process a posting follows before it reaches its final destination. I sat here
at my desk last Thursday morning and made my picks and whisked them away to
the address I always use. I put the note on the bottom because I had no idea
how long it would take for it to be posted and I knew the games were starting
that day.

I guess following your choice #3 would have been advisable ("submitted to the
keypunch group") if I knew enough to do that.

As for your #4, I haven't got the foggiest notion of what that even means.

I realize the fact that I was 14-2 (I missed Depaul and Oklahoma) in Thursday's
games may fuel your accusation (did you have a tough first round, Randy?), but
first-round games are pretty easy to have a high percentage on. The only ones
I missed on Friday were the two big upsets, Cleveland St. and Ark. L-R. Do you
think I would have had Northeastern advancing to the final 16 if I was trying
to cheat?

As you can tell, I'm not a veteran netter. If the person running the contest
wants to disqualify me, I promise I'll still sleep at night.
