This is a repost of an article I didn't think made it the first
time -- sorry if you got it twice...
DAK, of all places, has an ad in this month's catalogue for
an Olivetti "dry ink jet" printer for $200. Apparently it uses
disposable $2.00 print heads containing a carbon rod, which is slowly
deposited on the paper by electrostatic discharge. I would appreciate
any information anyone could give me on either the process or this
specific printer, as I am seriously considering buying one...
