Am looking to create a group of collectors that would back up their game
collections on cd in pdf format (color scans) for purposes of long term
shared archiving. For sake of legality the general rule of thumb would be
sharing of out of print materials only. Scans of currently available
materials should be kept by the owner in the event of the materials being
taken out of print indefinitely. This is mainly intended as a project for
serious collectors to preserve rpg, war, and strategy games. In no way is
there any intent for profit, nor will there ever be, so please do not
misconstrue this post. A website and mailing list is under development and
membership is free for anyone that wishes to participate and contribute to
the archive. Email privately if you wish to participate. Public responses
will be ignored. Assistance in creating a complimentary binaries newsgroup
would be welcome.
