A Diverse Selection of Library Research and Library Subject Guides

WEBBIB0708

This website directory contains an ecclectic window on the tremendous
tools provided by libraries for specific aspects of the research process
as well as guides to sources and tools for conducting research in specific
fields. This is a selection from an extremely large body of guides
provided by differing types of libraries for research in the libraries of
the institutions providing these guides. Despite the local nature of some
of the information in these guides, many other libraries have the same
tools or types of tools cited, many of the sources cited are tools not
specific to the institution providing the guide. Hence these guides are
of much use to a general body of users and not just the members of the
providing institution.

"On January 1, 1994 the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
established a single trade zone. There is a great deal of research
material available on this subject. The difficulty is not in finding
information, but in sorting through the vast amount of material available.
This guide will discuss a few major sources, suggest how to proceed for
gathering more materials and concentrate in particular on the on-line
materials that are available for keeping up to date."
