Hi folks,
It's that time of year again when we celebrate narrow gauge railroads around the world by devoting an entire playlist to them. We start with Denver & Rio Grande Western's three foot narrow gauge operations in New Mexico and Colorado in The Chama Turn, then move to the 30 inch gauge Puffing Billy Railway in the Australian State of Queensland with PBTV's presentation of what they do to prevent fires in the bush. Then it's off to Mexico for horse drawn railways unusual three foot gauge EMD's and some standared gauge in A&R's Mexican Narrow gauge. Highball Productions heads to Wales to show us the largest two foot gauge locomotives in the world in Garratts Under Snowdon and finally, we visit the railway that helped kick-start the preservation movement in the UK in the 1965 classic: Railway with a Heart of Gold. It's all this week on The Rail Channel!
Here's the line-up:
All Aboard - The Chama Turn
