Amfleet on the Fitchburg line?

I'm inbound on the Fitchburg Line, and we just passed an outbound that included an Amfleet and an MBTA cab on the rear, I didn't spot the loco. This wasn't a scheduled train.

Anybody know what's up?

Amtrak Geometry Train, according to a well informed source that said it was due to check Boston to Fitchburg today.
