Subject: A101 Dekatron socket

Does anyone have a line on A101 Dekatron sockets? I have kept an eye on Ebay
for some time now, but although the tube itself seems common enough, I have
not seen any sockets. It looks a bit like an octal socket, 13 pins (evenly
spaced; no gap) with a very fat center alignment post.

If someone knows, please let me know.

Thanks, Bill van Dijk

As far as I know they are an unobtainium. The best is to buy the bushings
that are offered for them on eBay and some Neonixie members and make the
socket yourself with or on the PC board.
Some British member developed an socket calculator [
http://www.desmith.com/NMdS/Electronics/soculator.html ] to make the job
easy.

them.
