Neo4j Doesn't start on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 - 64 bit

Keeps repeating the following message and then dies with 

. BAD.
 another server-process is running with []


Any recommendations?

I'm using 1.8.M05 Enterprise.. Had the same issue with 1.7.2 Enterprise.

Sorry, the script uses lsof to determine if there is already a neo4j process running on that port.

Seems to be incompatible between linux versions :(

Can you raise an issue with this o github.com/neo4j/community/issues ?

Until then you can perhaps help yourself by starting bin/neo4j console
or commenting out the check?
