What exactly is this: 'AbstractGraphDatabase graphdb = getGraphDb();' ?

I guess, more specifically, I'm trying to make the code snippet in
18.4 work, and I cannot seem to find this mysterious 'getGraphDb()'
anywhere. Where does it come from?

this code is actually part of a real test, see
