How do I index a newly created node using Cypher?

That's the big question.

Right now cypher has no indexing support and we're having a lot of discussions if and how we're gonna approach that.

So auto-indexing is the only thing that works right now.

I hope it will get introduced in Cypher one day!

I rather use Cypher for interaction then Java now when it's this powerful.

And interestingly when used with parameters it is almost as fast as the core API when it comes to mutation.

For querying we still work on improving the patternmatcher and some internals.
