Has anyone else noticed the missing Gremlin button on the console tab?

Kalen,

No, I haven't. In fact I have just tested fresh installs on both OSX/ Mac and Ubuntu/ AWS, and I get the gremlin button just fine.

We made a change recently so gremlin is now a plugin in $NEO_HOME/plugins/gremlin1.5 - do you have that?

You can always take a backup and install from fresh to see if that works?

Thanks for the follow up!

This is a brand new download and install of 1.9RC2 and you can see the contents of the plugin directory.

Kalen,

You are right, that looks like it ought to work. However, I have no ideas for how to help you - I am convinced it is an issue local to your machine.

Could it be the account you use to run? Permissions maybe?

Kalen,
can you make that exact installation available to us for download and test so we can verify it is working for us locally?

Update.... I did the following...

  • Copied the Linux install to my Mac
  • Fired up the server on my mac and found the gremlin console not available
  • copied the original server install to my mac
  • copied my database over to the new install
  • and the gremlin console was available
I haven't moved back to my linux environment yet, but I think the problem should be resolved.

Thanks so much for the replies!

Ok,
seems a bit random to me, but let us know if there are problems popping up, so we can investigate more.
