Hi everyone,

I just published a new post in Bio4j blog including a graph schema describing the domain model of the DB and I thought that some of you might be interested.

For those who don't know yet what Bio4j is, it basically is a graph DB implemented in Neo4j for the integration of biological Big Data.
Please don't hesitate to provide any kind of feedback or questions.

Cheers,

Wow! You are doing an amazing work. I really like the Bio4jExplorer.
Are you using EC2 through REST, and still getting those good times? i
need a deep read on your blog posts.

Regards-

PD: We are thinking about adding support to private instances based on
EC2 at sylvadb.com. Feel free to check it out :D

Hey, thanks!

Bio4jExplorer tool is currently deployed with a Jetty Server in an EC2 instance, the data itself for the domain model is stored in AWS SimpleDB and the communication between client and server is made through HTTP POST/GET requests, Servlets, and XML.
You can check this blog post:
or this one as well:
The latter is older but has extra information regarding implementation details.

Let me know if you have any other questions ;)

Cheers,

Pablo
