Now I've returned to NeboPad as my main notepad, and like it better than pviously thought. Here is a current wishlist for the next version...
1. smaller tabs when too many to see, or two rows, or larger arrows to access with thumbs
2. always show tabs to left and right of active tab which would allow scrolling left and right through tabs by thumb
3. number list (renumber when item deleted or inserted)
4. save cursor point to reopen to same location in doc
5. allow action button to choose tab (instead of Enter) then action button can scroll left and right between tabs
6. allow customizing of buttons, for instance action button to pop list of tabs (good when some out of sight) or to scroll by screen when reading long doc
7. when opening recent and favorite windows action button does nothing, would help if action button scrolls through and opens when pressed
8. easier navigation to find files in Open window, Windows explorer style
9. change tab size
10. save all tabs
11. multiple undoes
12. find/find next/replace with use of irregular expressions such as \t, \n, \r, and $.[^%]*% or similar allowing replace of anything between two chosen characters.
13. word wrap on/off to be able to see if there are any returns in a paragraph
14. reflow (remove returns added by email clients)
15. open large files over 64kb as cke does
16. associate multiple custom extensions such as .lst, .txt, .dat, etc
17. paste file (insert text file contents)
18. paste time, configurable
19. paste date, configurable
20. open all in favorites
21. spellcheck
22. allow Ctl+a to select all
