I'd like to second John's thanks of Bob and Lee Evans, Sue Mohler, Jim Lockhart and the Mauldins. Additionally, thanks to everyone who volunteered to help as a holder, whip or any other duties throughout the season! Most importantly, though, we need to thank John for his hard work in making sure that we have a safe and fun event and0 timely results week in and week out.

I just finished my 7th consecutive year of racing the CBTT, and I'm looking forward to another year ahead! Hope to see some of you out at the cross races, or maybe on some skinny skis over the winter.

We put another year to bed tonight.  We re-crowned Cathy Rowell as Women's CX Champion and Bill McCarthy snuck through a fiercely competitive field to win the Men's title.  By general accord, Cathy was crowned Overall CX Champ.  Clearly there was a fair bit of traffic out there since we had an unusually high number of riders slowed tonight.  I'm kinda glad the weather scared some riders off, as it gets dark earlier than I expect. 

Tom Keery wore the 545 Velo official uniform (Aero helmet on non-aero bike) and put in a PR on what did not seem to be a particularly fast night. Bill Ingraham demonstrated that he must have the most interesting collection of bicycles (you had to see it.)  Eric Brandhorst had a fast ride and was buying beer for all afterwards.  

Thanks to Lee and Bob Evans for doing so much work for the event.  We could not do it without them.  They are off to AZ in a month or so.  To all the club members who answer my emails for volunteers, I am truly grateful.  I never have a hard time getting slots filled (don't take that as permission to slack off.)  To Sue Mohler, Jim Lockhart, Jocelyn and Randy Mauldin - thanks a ton.
