documentation for Gentoo users

I'm using Gentoo Linux as a host machine. I used to have nxserver-
freeedition running on it, but I've given up on it as it kept
breaking. So now I've installed neatx, but I'm totally lost. How do I
stop/start the server? How do I configure it? How do I setup SSH for
the nx user? I've read it work out of the box, but my NX client
(running on Windows) fails to authenticate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
