Actually, I find the machine to be humorous. At least for the time being.
WxMachine" posts on ne.weather. Compared to a lot of the other posters there
it is amusing, harmless and (sometimes) informative.
I say, let "it" stay - at least for now

blah.. I think a board that has the likes of Cosgrove, HM etc does not need

I have nothing against Donkey's.
Its snow forecasts have been pretty accurate in the past (I read it last
winter on ne.weather)... touch call for the mods w/ the "crush kill destroy
humans !!!" BS, but its forecasts usually ARE accurate.
Personally I have no problem with it. It's not like he trolls people or
anything like that. The only thing that would concern me is that it would
rub METS like Cosgroove the wrong way.
If that is the case, and I hadn't looked at it from that perspective, than
trashcan thing needs to go b/c it certainly isn't worth making good pros
wash their hands of this place.

WXMACHINE has a run-time error in his BS routine.

WxMachine has highly developed modesty subroutines!
WxMachine should review its history. I recall the WxMachine posting quite
sophisticated (and voluminous!) html to a weather newsgroup in the past
year, thus demonstrating its quite competent grasp of webpage design (and
causing pain to human newsgroup readers with inadequate bandwidth! :-).
Perhaps WxMachine meant it has insufficient web-accessible storage?

NEWxSFC. Over the past few years, he/s been in on a few individual
storm events and once or twice in the Season-Totals contest, but the
numbers don/t lie --- the results have not been pretty.
As you probably are well aware, -- not that I do hereby grant and / or
affirm your being as sentient or anything borg-ish like that -- we make
D-1 forecasts, AKA 'last calls.' PT, who was not on your lits, makes
some money by forecasting and has occasionally entered our snowfall
prediction game, but not often enough to be seeded at the end of the
season.
I suggest WXMACHINE take two Senecot with a warm boot and have a
refreshing IPL in the morning.
