Hey, I'm on vacation and goofing off, so here's a list of answers
shamelessly copied from a booze ad on the back of The New Yorker.

Let's be reasonably serious here :-) except for the first one. What
are the correct questions?

1 yes
2 George Washington
3 Briefs
4 Depends on who you ask
5 Down the hall, second door on your left
6 District of Columbia
7 86 cents
8 The Nile (if you include the Blue and White)
9 114 years, 211 days
10 93.2 million miles

I was going to ask, "Who was the first of 42 Commanders-in-Chief more
competent than G. W. Bush"?

Aha. Glad to know I'm not alone in the world. I immediately googled
the ones I didn't know, too.

Especially:

How much do women make on average for every dollar a man makes?

> 9 114 years, 211 days

"sometimes" is a bad word. The 86cents value was derived by evaluating
many people's salaries over many different jobs, and updating models
which try to produce rules for job comparability.

Since in the quoted context, "sometimes" could mean anything from 0.01%
to 50% of the time, it's not much use and is likely to be misleading.

Yeah, but the problem is not in the author but the readers. People are
(in)famous for interpreting data the way they want to :-( .
