I new Asian market we hope will open in Burlington, behind the Middlesex
Mall.

from a chowhound post on feb 19 in a thread about h-mart:
I was at the H Mart site today and the joint was jumping. The
roofers were working, and the parking lot was full of assorted
tradesmen's trucks. All of the signs from the previous occupants
have been removed, and it looks like they're closing up the
entrance on the right and leaving the left side open.

i looked thru the brochure, and it is as you guessed a brochure
looking for businesses to set up shop within the hmart complex.
page 5 says that space is available for 15 shops, including 5
restaurants (korean, japanese, chinese, snacks, etc.) all within
a food court and 10 regular retail shops.
page 5 also says: "completion / expected opening date = first
half of 2009 (april expected)". yay.
so it looks and sounds real. i will be checking it out.
maybe we can have a group outing there? i would love to learn more about
asian products. i know a little but many of you are way more expert. the
few times i get to an asian market i can't always tell what things are
or what i would like! i just stick to simple basics like sesame and hot
oils.

Where exactly will it be? I drove to the back via the southern end of
the mall after a trip to Market Basket and didn't see anything.

it isn't in the market basket mall at all. when you first go into the
ramps you either bear right into the mall or you can go straight which
is to the H-mart location. they share the entrance/exit ramps but not
any property. you can't even really (or just barely) see the H-mart from
the main road.

Good cuz the Allston Super 88 seems to be winding down. They haven't stocked
their shelves in a while, though they say they are not closing.

and we just moved into the arlington heights area so we are even closer
to where h-mart is. i just discovered how to make my own miso but whole
food prices for bonita flakes and miso is way up there. i would expect
much better deals at h-mart.

Chowhound also pointed to an H-Mart website that leads to the food court
rental drawings http://www.clarapaik.com/hmart-forms.html . Many of these
contain a complete floor plan of the store. You have to zoom to at least

Awesome! Super 88 (Soon to be Hong Kong Market) has restocked a bit as
well in their Allston location. I haven't been this week, but will probably
go tomorrow and buy a few things.

BTW, as of yesterday, you have to look pretty far in to see the
