Medical Alert Card for Wildlife Professionals
Because biologists working with wildlife may be exposed to a variety of disease agents, NWHC developed a wallet-sized card that wildlife professionals can carry with them to alert medical personnel about the potential increased risk for exposure to zoonotic diseases that wildlife professionals face. Contact information is provided for the Centers for Disease Control for information on the occurrence of zoonotic diseases in humans.
