Here is the google docs link to my Barcamp presentation for this Saturday

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1fy4XCmGNN_IGNV3TPud7bUT7Wn43QOdMcSUENec5M-s/edit?usp=sharing

I am still fighting a few formatting issues after exporting from Open Office -> .ppt -> googledocs, so I plan to continue tweaking it, but I am interested in any comments or critique about:

* can you even get to the presentation, and does everything show correctly?
* anything wrong (definitely review for correctness)
* anything missing that should be there
* anything I provided that you disagree should be included
* formatting/spelling/wording
* basically anything

In addition to the google presentation, I will have a signup sheet for those interested in learning more, and I will also have previous payloads, new payload, and support hardware for display.

I would *REALLY* appreciate any feedback today or Thursday as that would give me time on Friday to modify it and prepare for the presentation.  However, I will take feedback up to the time of presentation if you can't get it to me before then.

Rodney, this preso looks great! I did not see any glaring things to fix and it remains interesting to the end. Looking forward to the talk and thanks for doing this!

Rodney,

I'm not familiar enough with the subject matter to comment on the comprehensiveness of the content, though I can't think of anything to add. The only thing I noticed was a possible punctuation issue on slide 53 (APRS pros and cons). "Open source, easily hackable, solution" seems to have an extra comma before "solution".

Jeff :)

Thank you Chris Gorski, Jeff Highsmith, and Jeremy Davis for the quick review and comments.

Chris sent me his comments (very thorough) in private email and I have made the corrections/suggestions he made, or I modified the section to clear up the misunderstanding. For the comment, Jeff, I actually rewrote the sentence to make it a bit more clear.

I have also added a few more images before Chris reviewed it, and possibly before the two of you reviewed it - images from most of the launches showing something unique in that launch.

John (of TINS), if you are following this thread and could get me a photo of your tree cat in your payload at nearspace, I would be glad to add it to the presentation as well.

WOW... that is a stunning presentation! Very well organized, does not
get ahead of itself at any point, and covers a LOT of material.

You'll need to be careful about time... that's a lot of slides for a
50-minute time slot.

Do you still need a picture of a trackuino?

It really is a lot of slides... way more than I had intended to add.  As of this morning, I only had 39 and I was happy with that, but then looked back at other presentations and added in the remaining.  Many of those will be a very short skip through, or so I hope.

But yes, that is a very real concern.

As for the Trackuino, I was hoping to pop in a photo of my Trackuino + amp + batteries, etc in the Lock-n-Lock box.  Unfortunately I don't have a photo of just that and I have loaned it to Tim for a school launch tomorrow.  If I can't get a photo of my setup by then, I can just take photos of the remaining parts I have (I bought 3x Trackuinos + amps).
