THANK YOU for coming out and getting the system together inside Dorton!  Such an unusual way to fly-- and we do it to ALTITUDE in a few hours-- early tomorrow morning!  Will you check on us?  Here are the links:

Cool. Looks like you flew almost directly over Statesville High School at 7:50
and you are just about to fly over the Freightliner factory in Cleveland, NC.

So, Trappe, how was the flight???

Last I saw you, you were visually darn near stationary (...probably drifting away from me) near the regular hot-air balloon and that helicopter was circling around nearby...  and I didn't see either of you fall overboard by then, at least (:

Looked like y'all were airborne 'til something like 3:30 and you put a good deal of distance behind you--I guess everything went well?

Did one of you end up cutting away a couple of balloons to descend, then...?

Wish I could have run chase, too, but I had way more of a blast getting y'all launched than I would have in the C++ mines!

--me

... I did get a few pictures that are at least snapshot quality--I'll sort through them soon and see what I've got that's any good and send a flickr link or something!
