Based on past experiences, I would lobby against a Sunday tournament. Too many fencers will feel academic pressure and we can expect greatly reduced attendance on a Sunday, since those who (in the past) have attended on Saturday, do so in the knowledge they will have Sunday to catch up on their studies.
I'm sure there are other reasons too...but I am skeptical of Sunday tournaments. I suggest Club officers poll their membership--formally--and get some real-world feedback.
