Job Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 months contract
Responsibilities
• Designs enhancements, develop, modify, debug and evaluate existing Applications using .net Framewor 4.0, C#, AJAX, SQL Server 2008, Windows Services and WCF.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture
• Implements enhancements to existing application.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
Required Skills
• Solid experience with .net Framework 3.5 or higher, C#, ASP.net, ADO.net, WCF and Visual Studio platform.
• 8-10 years of experience in AJAX , XML Web Services, WCF, SOAP, Windows Services, and Windows Desktop applications
• Good working experience with SQL Server 2008, TSQL and Stored Procedures
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Designing software applications running on multiple platform types
• Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
