Senior Software Sustaining Engineering Manager

•Works closely with customer support and development teams. •Actively
engages other teams to achieve organizational success. •Removes
roadblocks and inhibitors to the success of his teams. •Plans,
coordinates and monitors sustaining activities on multiple active
release branches. •Handles escalated negotiations. •Ensures
professional improvement, progression and training of employees by
providing necessary management and support. •Performs administrative
activities such as performance evaluations, vacation planning, etc.
Qualifications: •Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer
Science or the equivalent. •10 to 15 years experience in
telecommunications software development. •Minimum of 5 years
experience in an engineering management role. •Strong organizational,
development planning and project management skills. •Strong leadership
and coaching skills.

•Experience with ORACLE and relational database management systems.
•Strong object oriented programming (C/C++ and Java) background.
•Experience with Java Servlets, J2EE, XML, Jboss, SOAP technologies.
•Experience with development on Solaris and Linux OS. •Experience with
SIP, TCAP, H.323, and wireless application protocols is a plus
