Hi everyone,
It's here! Conference championships! Here is the road race & TTT flyer. The version of the flyer on usacycling.com incorrectly lists the TTT start as being at Holden Church - there is a wedding there on Saturday, so please be respectful of their guests and *do not park there*. Park on the side of the road near the start, or spin over on your bicycle. The forecast looks to be like time-honored traditional Ken Woods weather, so bring your knee-warmers and your hardest attitude.

Here is the crit flyer. Please consider pre-registering for it - you don't have to carry around cash on race day, you don't have to sign a waiver on-site, we don't have to figure out where to keep your waiver for the next ten years. You can also pre-register for the afternoon USAC category races for $10. Sign in to your USAC account and go to https://www.usacycling.org/myusac/index.php?pagename=registration&eventid=1263&year=2012#.

If your club plans on paying for either race as a team, please let me know so I can give the RR promoters a heads up. As the first MCF race they are always a little in over their heads at registration and team pay gets confusing for folks who are not accustomed to it.

As a reminder, the promoting club is requesting that we only run 12 TTTs. If your club plans on fielding one TTT, please e-mail me by Wednesday (tomorrow). After tomorrow, clubs wishing to field additional teams will be allowed to sign up for the remaining spots, first-come, first-serve. So far I have heard from Saint Olaf and Kansas State.

To request a homestay, go here.
If you can give a homestay, go here.
If I have received a homestay request from you, you should have received an assignment by now.

Finally, we have a location for the conference dinner/meeting - it will be at Republic (www.republicmn.com), at 6:30, in the back room. This shouldn't be exceptionally far from most of your homestays; just across the river. You can either drive over and try to find a spot at a meter (free after 6, I believe), pay to park in the ramp across the street, walk, or take a bike share (www.niceridemn.org). There is one bike share kiosk directly across the street, and a few others within an easy walk. The bikes are equipped with lights, but it's BYO-Helmet. Mark will send out more details about the meeting.

RR and TTT Championship awards will be distributed at dinner.

Crit Championship, Individual Season Omnium championship, and Team Omnium championship awards will be distributed after the A/B men's race, before the Master's race at the crit on Sunday.

See you on Saturday!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let everybody know that I’ll be visiting from Colorado this weekend, and look forward to meeting many of you at the race and the conference meeting! Collegiate cycling is my full-time job and primary responsibility, so feel free to come up to me with questions or concerns about collegiate cycling, or just to talk shop! Good luck and see you all in Cannon Falls on Saturday!
