The idea is basically as follows:
I am looking for 1-4 people that want to start a shared buying club
for pinball machines. The members would "share" the machines. The idea
is to get a pinball machine for every member, which would be shared
among the members. Each member would hold the machine in his or her
home for say 3 months. The members would meet every 3 months (at
someone's home) to play pinball, talk about club business and swap
machines.
Here are the advantages:
Get more/better machines less of an investment
Solves the "space" problem.
The ability to own a better variety of machines.
This could really work well with the right group of people. I am
looking to gauge interest in my area. I haven't worked out all the
details but there would be rules about member conduct and filters to
make sure everyone is on the up and up.
Let me know.

House rules might keep people away from my place for a party (no
smoking or drinking in my house and grounds.)
other than that I'm in.
I think it would be hard to work out the community ownership end.
I would be in for swapping machines for a few months.
Good luck my man,
Robert
I currently have four working pins and Baby Pac ready for a board
repair and a Ms pac in the process of getting new side art.
How about storing broken games? and they must be fixed when I pick
them up. Blahhahaha.....
Seriously, I only have one broken game...Space Invaders.
I am in for the pin party.
Most of the guys aren't too hot on the pin-swapping club. They are
looking at the problems not the benefits. That's cool. I understand.
