I'm willing to pay in cash, beer, or parts trades (I've got a non-
working G-07 with a good tube, for example, and lots of spare (but non-
working) G-07 chassis...
Let me know! Thanks!

For Sale:
Galaga up right arcade game
Original cabinet with all the original art, everything is in great shape.
There are a few very minor dings on the sides, which tends to happen with
age and as often as these cabinets get moved. The screen has slight burn in
(appears to be Pac-man, I'm guessing this isn't the original monitor). When
playing the burn in isn't noticeable. Over all it's in great shape for a
system that's from the early 80's.
The system is almost in playable condition, but needs a bit of TLC. At
random times the system works good enough to get in a round or two, other
times the sprites seem to speed up and slow down without regard to the
level, and at other times it just doesn't boot. The owner isn't familiar
with the electronics enough to troubleshoot the issue, but did ship the
board to MikesArcade.com to be checked -- it has been verified as good. My
best guess after speaking to Kerry would be that the issue is related to a
logic chip that's either failing or that is not seated well. I would
suggest reseating all the ROMs, or worse case a new set of ROMs for the
board. I know several people in the group can help with that for a fee if
that becomes necessary.
The system has been updated with the high score fix (keeps high scores when
power is off or the system is unplugged) as well as a rapid fire ROM.
It comes with a new control panel overlay to give it a nice polished look
since the original is showing it's age a bit (the new one has a slight
crease near the corner so it may need to be ironed into place). All
necessary keys are included, the system manual (other service manuals are
included in PDF format). There are also several ROMs, an extra joystick,
and misc. other parts that were kept as backups that will be included as
well.
The game is located in the Leesville Rd / 540 area of Raleigh.
Price is set at $750. Reasonable offers "may" be considered.

Best place to sell locally is Craigslist. I've bought and sold a couple
of pins there. Much better than the hassle on eBay.
The price may be a little high for the collectors on this list. There's
another Galaga on the Raleigh CL for $600 and auction prices can be even
lower.
Galagas can have flaky power supplies which can affect operation.

It's a personal peeve of mine, but I've always disliked phrases like
"Over all it's in great shape for a system that's from the early 80's".
I don't have any pins or vids newer than the mid-80s, so age isn't a
factor to me, but condition is. However, I tend to be more anal than
most. :-)
Good luck with the sale......don
I'd be glad to help you out with your cap kit. Drop me an email and we
can work out the details...
Not only is it a total dick maneuver to hijack someone else's post,
but to add insult to injury, this same cabinet is already on Craig's
list for 600 bucks.
