(16147) thing:/# getent hosts lt-ob
192.109.102.103 lt-ob.sun-powered.de lt-ob
getent geht via name-service-switch.
Obs das fuer die major Linuxe gibt...keine ahnung.

Zumindest bei Mandrake 10.1 ist es dabei. Scheint zur glibc zu gehören
und stammt von 1999.
