When we get the riders / houses organized, let's be sure we share cell phone numbers for every car and house. FYI, this was forwarded by my friend on Emerald Isle. Looks like Saturday will be _very_ windy. The rain is supposed to end on Friday, and "north to northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph ... expected inland with coastal areas seeing 20-30 mph gusting to 40-45 mph at times, especially Friday night and early Saturday" should dry the fields off nicely.... more »

FYI Here's the email directed to team captains with the weekend schedule, tourney rules, bracket, etc. (I guess it got sent to me because I was a captain a couple of years ago -- anyway, it said share it with all team members so here it is.) Two more tidbits I heard from someone I know down there: On Saturday, there is an 11 am Veteran's March in Morehead City. The streets in Morehead will be blocked. So you will not want to venture that far from the fields during our lunch break / bye during game 2 (11:15-12:45).... more »

Ok, organizing the lodging. We have two places to stay, both without charge. If you would like to stay at one of these places you must bring your own linens and be willing clean up before leaving Sunday. Please let me know if you are interested tonight or tomorrow so I can organize. Thanks -G
