While we are still a long way from debugging Native Client applications in a
Windows specific software environment (read: Visual Studio) we have made it
a little easier to debug native client applications using the GNU Debugger,
also known as gdb.
You can now find detailed instructions here:
http://www.chromium.org/nativeclient/how-tos/debuggingtips/debugging-untrusted-code-with-a-special-gdb-build-on-windows
Note that we've provided the gdb executable alongside the source, so you can
just take it and run without installing mingw. The next release of the SDK
should also include the same bundle.
We'll keep you posted on any advancements as they become available
