Invite to the 9th National Conference on Electoral and Political Reforms, 23rd and 24th March, IGPRS, Jaipur, Rajasthan

We invite you to the forth-coming ‘9^th Annual National Conference on Political and Electoral Reforms’ organised by National Election Watch (NEW) and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) at Jaipur, Rajasthan on 23^rd -24^th March, 2013 .

The Conference will be attended by delegates representing Election Watch groups from all over India, representatives from various civil society organizations, media and other eminent persons. Among other topics, there will be discussion on the need and way towards electoral reforms, political party reforms, the role of media and civil society in electoral reforms, local body elections etc.

Among others, the Chief Election Commissioner, Shri. V.S. Sampath, members of the media and civil society have already confirmed their participation. We are also expecting senior members of major political parties at the Conference as there will be a discussion on the Draft Bill on Political Parties (Registration and Regulation of Affairs etc.).
