Welcome all to the Nashville Urban Harvest listserv! Nashville Urban Harvest is a community group that is working to build a sustainable food system in Nashville, Tennessee. Our group consists of a few folks who see a better way for Nashville to feed itself and are committed to bringing about that change. We are a group of volunteers and we invite anyone and everyone to join us in whatever capacity they can offer. We currently have several projects that include: an urban community farm in West Nashville, a 20-family CSA for the Spring-Summer 2009 growing season, and the Veggie Project- a collaboration between a couple great community partners to host farmers markets at the Boys and Girls Clubs in Middle Tennessee. It's time. So bring your ideas, energy and come on!

The way this listserve is currently set up, email addresses are private and messages have to be approved by a 'listserve manager' before they are sent out to the group (once a day). Anyone who wants to help out by being a listserve manager and approving messages that come through the listserve before they are posted, please email me. We do this to make sure no spam or irrelevant messages flood our listserve.
