President – Manages the meeting schedule and arranges for speakers. This involves working with the INETA organization, Microsoft, and other avenues of getting sponsors.
Vice-President – Manages sponsor relationships. Sponsorship is either in the form of money or products/giveaways. Many relationships are already established so it is just a matter of keeping up with them, generally via email.
Secretary – Secretary schedules officer's meetings, takes notes and sends out meeting minutes to the
leadership group. The secretary also coordinates name badges and
surveys at meetings.
The following positions are appointed by the elected leadership.
Treasurer – Manages the group’s checking account, makes needed purchases, invoices sponsors.
Community Coordinator – New for 2010. This person will help with newsletters, and manage our profiles on assorted social networking sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, …)
It is important to point out that this is a leadership TEAM. We help each other out so no one gets too overwhelmed. So… if you have both a passion for the community and a bit of free time available each month, we’d love for you to join our leadership team.
