  <title type="text">Converting Firefox generator code to Narrative Javscript code</title>

  I had a tricky problem I couldn&#39;t manage with state machines which &lt;br&gt; became easy to solve using Firefox&#39;s new generator support. Now I want &lt;br&gt; to convert that code to work on other browsers. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;So far I haven&#39;t been able to find anything online for converting &lt;br&gt; between the two. So far I can figure out this much:

  Hi Ben, neat visualization! I&#39;m not sure why it&#39;s not working in IE, &lt;br&gt; I&#39;m guessing it&#39;s some oddity with XmlHttp. I&#39;ll have to take a look &lt;br&gt; at some point.   This sounds awesome. I am working on trying to integrate this fix into &lt;br&gt; Strands (Neil is no longer doing further dev of Narrative, and Strands is &lt;br&gt; the branch I have created for enhancements). However, I can&#39;t seem to get &lt;br&gt; this to work. In the regex declarations (for opRegExp2) I get an error for &lt;br&gt; opRegExpSrc.source being undefined. I inserted it right after the old regex

  Four 4s is the correct behavior. You can take the yield operator out and try &lt;br&gt; it as regular javascript and it will behave the same. This is how closures &lt;br&gt; work, they maintain a reference to the scope, not copies of variables. The &lt;br&gt; variable i gets set to 4 before any of the anonymous functions ever get &lt;br&gt; executed, and they all use the same closure scope, which has i set to 4 when
