E-commerce with nanoc

Has anyone made an e-commerce site with nanoc?
I would love to read your experience.
Would it be completly anacronic since it is a static cms?

Hi,

I’m not sure whether building an e-commerce site is possible with nanoc because I believe you need dynamic parts for the handling of the actual commerce part. For a gallery of products though, I suppose nanoc could be used.

A simple webshop using nanoc is easy to implement using SimpleCart
[1]. I've made a few webshops [2] [3] using this combination. The
webshops are only in Finnish so please use google translate if
required. I spent just a few hours implementing the latter webshop [3]
so please pardon it's graphical design ;)

Thank you very much.
It seems that Simplecart is perfect for what we need.
Only thing is that it would be "cooler" to have paypal on same
language as the nanoc web site.
For what I have seen you have the paypal page in english... but I
manage to have that change I think it's perfect.
An ecommerce site with javascript rocks in speed!
This is a very nice plugin for nanoc!
