Ed Roberts Campus construction to start August 18

I got a flyer at BART yesterday that says the east parking lot will be
closed starting August 18:

Bike parking is supposed to be increased on the west side of the
station to make up for the lost spaces. There will be valet parking in
the west lot from 7am-10pm weekdays.

Some of the permit conditions of particular interest to neighbors:

Construction activity is allowed only from 8am to 6pm weekdays and 9am
to noon Saturdays.

Trucks are not allowed on residential streets except from Adeline to
the site entrance on Woolsey.

The city "will limit off-site parking of construction-related vehicles
if necessary to protect the health, safety, or convenience of the
surrounding neighborhood."

Prior to commencing construction, a noise-monitoring plan must be
accepted by the city's Environmental Health Division, and the noise
manager's name and phone number must be prominently posted at the
site.

The valet parking must accommodate at least 200 vehicles. (There are
250 spaces in the east lot.)

All debris, soil, sand, and loose material must be covered at night
and the tarps secured to the ground. All trucks hauling such material
must be covered or have at least two feet of freeboard.
