What steps will reproduce the problem?
I am not sure. Probably viewing chart when recording is paused. It never
happened when I did not use pausing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is correct chart. See the attachment to see what I get.

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
MyTrack 2.0.2, Android 4.0.4, Samsung Galaxy S2

When you pause, My Tracks stop recording stats, thus you would have a gap
in the chart view. This looks right to be if you pause twice in this
recording.

The problem is not the "peaks" (I wouldn't mind gaps btw). The problem is
the straight lines between. They are totally wrong, probably it just takes
a first value and last value and connects them, instead of showing all
values. There is no way how a biking trip could produce straight lines.

This is how the same trip looks in Google Drive. And a correct chart of a
completely different trip in MyTracks.
Please reopen.

Can you share your track as kml?
Save as kml, email the file to yourself, attach the kml.

The bug is in the display, not in the data collected.

On the next release, it will be fixed. For now, you can see some of the
correct data by changing the x axis to time.
