When hiking over rough terrain I run into issues where the track recorded
shows either a lot of jitter when I'm stationary (adding to the distance
travelled), or it shows me going impossible locations (such as walking
across a river). Interestingly, this only seems to be an issue when I'm
stationary and not when I'm actually moving. For example, refer to data set:

Part one of the data when visualized shows me walking back and forth across
the river in peculiar patterns where there is no river.

In any case, once the track has been recorded, if there was a way for me to
delete spurious points I could manually clean up the noise and then let the
system recalculate distance travelled, time spent travelling, etc.

I would request that the maps overlay allow a user to select a particular
point and delete it.
