Hi,

linux, (like a small part of MythTV)
This software/App will have only input from a local analog camera and will
show live on screen.
Also there should be a recording option available to user.

I'm working on a startup social enterprise to improve the TV options in
correctional facilities, where TV is a big part of inmates' lives. I'm

I understand MythTV is open source. I would like to decouple the HTTP Live
Streaming Recorder from the rest of MythTV and set it up on my computer
(Linux preferably). Can anyone help with this?

My wife wants to sign us up for Comcast DVR service. I'm looking for an
alternative that I can buy upfront and a) not have to pay the monthly
service, b) retain recorded content indefinitely on DVD, Blu-Ray, or
external hard drive, c) be able to program the recording accordingly just
like you would with TiVo or equivalent.

to chase down this LiveTV ringbuffer issue. Since most of the devs do not

The project is about building a mesh wifi network opened to students.
We want to stream mythtv recordings and live tv over wifi on campus.
