Hi All,

I'm running MLO on openSUSE Linux (11.0) using wine.
The only thing that doesn't work is the saving of the Task Notes.

A similar problem reported from Calvin (cal) a while ago in Ubuntu
Linux, however the problem resolved somehow automatically w/o apparent
reason.

The steps:
* create a new task
* add notes into the task notes
* click on existing task

In the windows version, the "notes" icon appears to the right of the
task, but this doesn't happen. When i click back to the edited task,
the notes have disappeared.

Anybody else having this problem?

Cheers,

Stavros

I'm seeing the same thing here.

MLO 2.5 on SUSE 10. Same thing. Simply pressing Ctrl-S or File->Save I
can see that the notes disappear.

There is also the problem that changing the task notes does not
register as a change, so I have to change another property (i.e. the
title) before I can save it. However, that's minor, but not saving the
task notes is an app killer.

A couple more things.

Existing entries do not seem to be effected. For exampe, if I add text to a
task note, only the new stuff disappears.

This is my primary system at home. Obviously this makes MLO almost useless. I
realize that this is a Windows app and although not officially supported,
working on Linux/WINE is a great sales point.  But what's the point if it
doesn't work. If this doesn't get fixed soon, I will probably move to
something else.

Regards,

jimmo

Jimmo,

Did you test it on the latest Release Candidate I announced yesterday?
The issue is fixed there. Please confirm.
