IMPORTANT NOTICE for WM6.5 users. Some users reported that MLO stopped
working on their devices after upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. We are
investigating the reasons of the issue and will let you know ASAP. It
may be related to security policies or something similar.

Is this a wide-spread problem with WM6.5, or is it just happening to a
few?

It happened to some people who reported that they were not able to
install ADOCE or sync MLO with desktop. We think that it may be
related to new security settings on some devices with 6.5. There are
people however who reported that MLO works fine on their devices with
6.5 installed.

So we are investigating the problem. I would appreciated if people
with 6.5 reported here if there are any issues with MLO on their
devices.

Thanks!
Andrey.

For me personally, MLO works on 6.5, but rapid task entry does not. I
hope there is a solution for this soon, as I used it constantly on my
earlier PDA (windows mobile 5)

thx for any update on this

For me, on a phone that came with WM 6.5, using rapid entry breaks MLO
PPC

I'd really like to hear that the bugs with WM 6.5 are fully cleared as
I don't want to pay out $29.95 only to have problems using it. I use
MLO on my PC constantly and want to move over completely to my new HTC
HD2 - I can't afford to do the switch and have it not function
perfectly from day 1.

Andrey - can you please advise how the investigations are going and
when it will be safe to buy this version?

Thanks,
Richard

Richard,

We have investigated all the problems and fixed them. We are
performing the beta testing now.
I think new public beta will be available in a week or so.

In the meantime we still have 45 day trial so you can try the current
MLO version on your device, it works for most people.

BTW there is discount to MLO-PPC for MLO desktop users so the price is
lower that $29.95 - see our site.

Hi Andrey

Thanks for the prompt response (I wish all software suppliers were as
responsive!). I installed the Pocket PC version on my HTC HD2 running
WM 6.5 yesterday but found immediately that a couple of key things do
not work so I have not yet tried it out extensively:

1) When trying to change a date:
a) The corner of a very large calendar briefly appears before
disappearing again
b) The day and month can be edited, but not the year

2) When using Rapid Task Entry I found the problems above occured and
then MLO just crashed out

3) It is not clear to me (without reading the manual) how to edit the
text in an entry - tapping highlights the whole entry, and double
tapping collapses or expands the hierarchy. Having highlighted an
entry I cannot find a relevant menu item to edit it.

I'll hold off trying it out more until the new beta version is
available as I want to like this version as much as the PC one and
having to work against such basic bugs just puts me off.

Thanks again,
Richard

@Richard,

Thanks for trying it out on your HD2! Makes my life a little easier
when choosing my next phone. Really interested to get an update when
the updated MLO-PPC is out.

Hi Andrey

Is there any news on the new version of MLO for Pocket PC / WM6.5? I
am *very* keen to start using this - having to rely on Pocket
Informant at the moment and I do not like having to learn a whole new
way of managing my tasks. I'd be happy to be involved in beta testing
if that would be useful.

Best regards,
Richard

Hi Richard!

Our target for beta release is tomorrow or in a few days. Just a
couple more tests to pass the quality level MLO always had even for
beta releases :)

The new PPC version loads/syncs much faster now and more reliable in
general since we replaced old ADOCE database with new recommended by
Microsoft for mobile devices.

Andrey.

Andrey, will you still support WM 2003 devices?
