Generally in MLO, when you enter a partial date/time, it always defaults to the nearest date/time that matches what you have entered in the future.  Thus if I enter 10am and it is 11am,  it defaults to 10am tomorrow.

However,  it doesn't do this if you enter day/month.  For example, I have just entered 2/1  (ie 2nd Jan) and it has defaulted to 2/1/09 rather than 2/1/10.

I think it would be much better if you enter a partial date that it always defaults to the nearest matching date in the future.

+1 +1 +1!

This has always been a frustration for me - mainly since Outlook
always uses a future date, e.g. 2/1 results in 2/1/2010. I can't
understand why MLO would choose a past date when giving a future month
+day without a year.
