I purchased MLO Standard Version 3.0.1 on 12/3/09. I would like to
Import Tasks and Sync from Outlook, which I understand can only be
done in the Professional version.

1) Any thoughts on the overall ease of Syncing MLO with Outlook
Tasks? Keeping the Task Catagories and Priorities etc. when they are
moved to MLO? Comments on the Project Tracker function which I
understand also comes with MLO Professional version?

2) Can I exchange my Standard Version for the Professional Version and
pay the additional $10 ? Or do I have to upgrade from my Standard
version to the Professional version – which apparently would cost an
additional $20?

Thanks for any advice, D.

I don't know about the Project Tracker but I have to say the integration with Outlook is one of the smoothest I've seen!  Categories mapped to Contexts.  There is some choice of how to map priority - either into Outlook High/Medium/Low or into the task title.

What I particularly like is that you define a view in MLO that dictates what gets synced - so you can use MLO for a whole set of tasks that Outlook never sees, very easily and powerfully.

Also many other fields from MLO (such as flag) are available as "custom fields" to put into your columns in Outlook or use as Outlook criteria.
