Hello,

Currently, as per my understanding, I can export data from MLO to
Mindmanager maps.

A powerful feature would be to be able to modify, add, delete tasks,
projects or folders in Mindmanager and update MLO data.

Basically 2-way syncing between MLO and Mindmanager.

Thank you.

I second that - even though it would be great if the iphone mlo
version came out first!

i imagine the mlo<>mm two way sync must be tricky to set-up or it
would probably exist already.

I will consider this.

Yeas please Andrey, to my understanding what MLO currently implements
can't be called sync for what is changed in MM is not ported into mlo
when imported. I think that MLO's implementation of Outline is
powerful but a mindmap of that Outline is a killer when going through
a weekly review session.

We would benefit soooo much if you could implement that Andrey.

I second cd btw, iPhone comes first but I need this other feature sooo
badly...

Thanks in advance,

In case anyone's wondering, the only way I've found to sync anything resembling a task list with a mind-map with floating topics is to use Mindview Business's Outlook sync.  Mindmanager's outlook sync doesn't sync the floating topics.  OutlookLinker will do this as a plugin but it's really clunky.  Pocketmindmap might do it too, I forget.  At any rate, once you can sync with outlook, you could sync outlook with MLO etc.

And may be,
if mindmanager synchronization - is a too big work,
could you add a function to insert mindmanager branches by copy-paste?

Now i can paste my tasks from MLO into mindmanager, but i cannot do it
backward.

Is it possible?

Alternately, MLO could have multiple inheritance.  Many tasks are subtasks of one more than one task, and to assume otherwise is to forcibly misrepresent your goals..

+1 for better integration with MindManager. I'm available for testing.

Yeah, Andrey please take this feature request into consideration... I
think we are now fulfilling the requeriments for having this feature
added to the roadmap of mlo, right? :)

I've been looking for this feature (task manager with MM integration)
for long time and the market seems to be empty. MLO would be such a
killer and man once the iPhone app turns into reality, I'm sold!! :)

On Russian mlo forum found a way to insert branches to MLO from
Mindmanager by copy paste.

It is possible when you are using an quick task enter ('ctrl - shift -
m' hotkey)
Just paste needed branch into this window, and check first option
(Multitask enter - 1 task for 1 string).

I'll be thankful if somebody translate my broken English into normal
one:).

Hello there,

your English doesn't need to be translated, you've made your point
clear and I do thank you for that.

Have you used this method actually? Would you share your experience?
I'm interested in keeping the "logical structure" that is so valuable
when working with MindManager when transferred onto mlo. Tha is, MM is
great for enabling radial overview of projects but I'm afraid I may
lose that hierarchical view during the process...

So, the big question is: how do you transfer Folders, Projects and
Actions from MM into MLO? I wish so much this would work...

I look forward to your response.

Thanks

Marc

Hello there 40.02, just tested what you posted and it works pretty
much like MM import, right? there doesn't seem to be any difference
between copying and pasting into Rapid Task Window and doing a regular
MM import...

Export from MLO into MM works apparently but if branches or attributes
are added in MM, they won't appear when importing them into MLO.
Actually, if you do this simple test you will understand where the
problem is.

Open MLO, open your ml file, export into MM XML format (MM will
probably start then and you will be able to see your "life" in a
radial fashion). Now export that overview as XML and tell MLO to
import it. Your conexts are gone, right? that is such a shame :(

I wish MLO and MM worked transparently, MM enables such a
sophisticated point of view when MLO gets cluttered... I hope a better
support for MM is developed soon.

Thanks
