Dear FOODSPEAK,
Habonim Dror Camp Tavor is a small Jewish educational summer camp in Three Rivers, MI. Part of our mission is for kids to learn about environmental and food justice by helping out and working in our 1-acre organic farm. We typically have one staff member who splits their time between farming and camp-counseling, and two additional staff members who run the farm full time and help create programming about environmental education. One of our full-time summer farmers recently pulled out, so we are looking for someone to fill this position.
The ideal candidate is someone who is knowledgeable about farming, hardworking, self-motivated, loves children, and is excited about becoming part of a new community. The dates are June 4th through August 9th.
