If your skin doesn't begin to self-renew or self-repair, matters can
get worse - much worse. Darn it, you might find yourself with severe
eczema.
And that means acute itching - that's where you rip off layers of
flesh so you can get to the core of the itch - but no amount of
frantic scratching makes any difference. There's little relief.
What's more, now your skin is terribly dry and sensitive to touch.
Even the simple act of yawning makes your red patchy skin on your face
crack and bleed.
In this state your eczematous skin is prone to infections. Yes. Viral,
bacteria or fungal infections that cause you more misery and
suffering.
By now, your body just looks appalling. And your pain and desperation
increases.
The truth is, as a sufferer of eczema you long for anything that will
relieve the itching; you long for the wounds to heal and vanish; you
long to be normal again; and most of all you long for beautiful, soft,
smooth skin.
Moreover, like most sufferers, you've tried every remedy going and
there's tons of them out there. Let's see: pouring bleach in your bath
water is an odd one - a remedy from a grandma perhaps. Or awful
tasting potions - concoctions prescribed by the Chinese herbalists in
the shopping mall. Or remedies from acupuncturists, radiology
specialists and even the age old wives' tales.
Even traditional doctors and dermatologists can't help. These so
called experts are trained to treat the symptom of a rash; the itching
and dryness. But what's needed is a solution to the root cause of it.
