Feature Request: Due dates automatically set through dependencies

Say I have two tasks: Read a book, and return the book to the
library. I set return the book as dependent on reading the book so my
to-do list is clean. I also set for the return the library's due date
as the task's due date. Now, I would expect that since the final task
in the dependency would dictate the due date of all the tasks

The formats are different but can be synchronised using MLOsync once an Activesync connection is established. Not ideal but means you can work on the same dataset with both platforms, just syncing them regularly. It work be much better with a common file format though.

Nick

-----Original Message-----

This is a Windows PC generated MLO file that will not open on PPC.
Seems like I've seen somewhere here that they are not compatible even
though they are sold together. I wonder why I spent so much time
making the file on windows to find it does not load into PPC. I don't
even see any error. This is very frustrating as I thought I had found

Migrating from blackberry to windows mobile phone. Comming from a
mature blackberry based GTD system. Please help me get a feel for how
MLO allows me to handle:

1)	What features do not work on the mobile version but require the
desktop – is there a metric indicating this?
2)	Quick review of past items. Is there a way on the mobile

 Just an idea
Considering I have a lot of folders, subfolders, tasks, subtasks, projects
and subprojects, I find it would be easier and faster to look in search
option, when in Parent, in Rapid Task Entry, when a new idea comes, just like
the one in outline...You tell me! For example, if the new idea just entered

This seems to be suggesting that PPC and Windows formats are different
and therefore not compatible. This being the case why does it not say
this when buying the combined package? On the face of it this would
seem devious a least and I for one won't bother investing any more
time. I thought I had found a decent solution but when I could not

It would be a bit kludgy but you could have two tasks, the "Yes" task
and the "No" task (which I believe could be hidden from the Todo
view), and then a different set of children tasks that are dependent
on each of those, so they only show up if Yes or No is completed (checked).

Of course later you would want to delete all of the other branch,

I am using it
to map processes for my job which includes managing the same kind of
projects over and over again and several at the same time. Since most
of the tasks repeat, having templates helps a lot.

I find, however, that I am missing something to make this application

I may have a similar question. I'm just trying out MLO and I seem to
be able to create tasks just fine, but not new folders. I've reviewed
the help and see some discussion of folders, but not how to create
them. Must be missing something basic.

Dave
